The Okinawa Japan Temple - Dedication Committee Organized

The Okinawa Japan Temple was announced by President Russell M. Nelson in April 2019. A year later, in May 2020, the location was revealed—right next to the Okinawa District Building at 7-11 Matsumoto-cho, Okinawa City. And, on December 5, 2020, ground was broken for the temple.

Missionaries and Youth Host Game Night

The youth from Iwakuni Military Branch had a fun time hosting a game night to meet students from a local tutoring center, along with their teacher, Junya Tanimitsu. Youth from the Yanai Ward were also invited. 

One Year anniversary for Yigo Guam Temple   

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will celebrate the one year anniversary of the Yigo Guam Temple with their family and friends.  A series of Facebook memes with trivia questions about the temple were posted for people to answer as they ponder on the blessings of a temple on the island.
