The Pacific Islands will soon see the manifestation of their fasting and prayers as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints prepares for their Yigo Guam Temple Open House, then to its dedication as a fully functioning temple. Guam will have the opportunity to attend an Open House May 4 - May 14.

An 'Islands Open House' takes place Friday May 6 and Saturday May 7. Seven boards, one for each island, will have the different construction materials to experience in person. Interior and exterior photos which have been taken of the temple will be printed on poster boards for a visual experience. These will be sent to the islands from Guam to be experienced during the "Islands Open House', giving those attending a feeling of connection to the temple.

The Yigo Temple, being a unique, rural temple, at 6,800 sq. ft. offers all the ordinances, covenants, and blessings as all other temples.

A Cornerstone Choir and a separate choir for each of the three Dedication sessions will be performing for the Temple Dedication.

A Youth Devotional with Elder Bednar will he held Saturday, May 21, 2022. This will also be broadcast to all other islands:

Guam, Chuuk, Yap, and Saipan: 2:00 p.m.   Palau: 1:00 p.m.  Pohnpei and Kosrae: 3:00 p.m.

Guam Yigo Temple Dedication Sunday, May 22nd, 2022. (Three sessions: 9:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, and 3:00 p.m.)
