Church Recognized for Strengthening Maria A. Ulloa Elementary in Dededo

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was recently recognized by Maria A. Ulloa Elementary School for its meaningful contributions throughout 2025.

The Church supported the school in several ways, including providing volunteers for the campus Beautification Day in January. That effort played a key role in helping the school successfully pass its annual inspection. Serving more than 500 students in the Dededo community, Maria A. Ulloa Elementary has benefited from a partnership that continues to strengthen the learning environment for its students.

In addition, the Church donated mobile basketball hoops to expand opportunities for physical activity and outdoor recreation. Following the severe damage caused by Typhoon Mawar, the new equipment has helped restore sports programming and will benefit students for years to come.
