Barrigada Guam Stake Lights the World through Food, Dancing, and Song

A night of great food and fun entertainment took place at the Barrigada Guam Stake Center to kick-off the Light the World campaign just after Thanksgiving.  It was an event that was well attended.  Music and island dancing was the highlight of the evening for everyone.  Bishop Tuitu’u and his family sang several songs for the happy crowd.  Tasia Tuitu’u will be featured singing the youth theme song for the Church youth album in 2024.  Young missionaries joined together to light the world through island dances and song.  The crowd was invited to join Sister Kitaela Kalima and Sister Wanda Davis as they danced to the song “Pearly Shells”.  Two young men showed off their drumming skills along with Brother Ching Batimana. Even the Barrigada Guam Stake president, President Fredivic Nicerio, helped to “Light the World”, or at least the evening, by singing with his talented daughter, Francesca. The entire evening was a great way to usher in the Christmas season and help all who attended to share their “light” with everyone.
